Terms of service

StandPoint is an editorial publication and private investment club. We publish investment commentary, model portfolios, and live picks to members. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. Membership does not create an advisory relationship.

Membership is by application. We may accept, decline, or waitlist any application at our discretion. You must be at least 18 years old. Members are responsible for confirming that membership and any investment decisions are lawful in their jurisdiction.

Memberships are annual and billed in full at the start of each term via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable after 14 days from the initial purchase, except as required by law or as set forth in the refund section below.

You may cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of your first membership payment for any reason, by emailing membership@standpointhq.com. After 14 days, memberships do not renew automatically without your consent — see renewals.

Approximately 60 days before each annual renewal, we email a renewal preview. You may renew, decline, or change tier. Failure to act is treated as a non-renewal — we do not auto-charge for the next year without your explicit consent.

The WhatsApp group, comments on member surfaces, and any other communication channel we provide are for member-to-member discussion. Harassment, doxxing, solicitation, and resale of member content are grounds for immediate removal without refund.

All picks, letters, model outputs, portfolios, and other content we publish remain our intellectual property. Members may use the content for their own decision-making but may not republish, resell, or share with non-members.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or in connection with your membership is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — counsel to set]. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.

Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
